Instructions: The game has four large buttons, red, blue, green, and yellow. The computer will light these buttons in a sequence while playing a tone. The player must click the buttons in the same sequence as done by the computer. The game ends when the player makes a mistake when repeating the sequence. The game is great fun and awesome for developing memory skills. Sequencing games, like Simon, sharpen your ability to remember the order of events, which is an essential skill in comprehending what you read and hear.
Note on the Electronic game: Invented by Ralph H. Baer and Howard J. Morrison, the electronic game was launched at Studio 54 in New York City and quickly became the pop culture symbol of the 1980s. The slogan for the game was: “Simon’s a computer, Simon has a brain, you either do what Simon says or else go down the drain.”
Flash Game Creator: Paul Neave, based on the classic electronic game of memory skills released by Milton Bradley in 1978.
